Our Crazy Family Adventures

Our Crazy Family Adventures

I thought that since I haven't told anyone about our adventure to New Mexico for Conference weekend I would share a few pictures. One of the great things about my dad's job is the pumpkin patch. As you drive up over the hill you normally look out and see nothing but orange! It's so awesome!! This year there were alot of weeds, but you can still get an idea of what it looked like.
This is pretty much what the back of our truck looked like! I think 75% of them came home with us! We love carving pumpkins! You can kind of see "Frank" he is the largest pumpkin I've ever seen! And is still sittin outside our house :)

Karisma and I love doing things together, and since I only see her once in a while, we make every minute count...I was trying to teach her how to roll out dough, and she did awesome!

While we were watching conference on Sunday we looked over and saw Rylie under the stool. We just sat and watched her as she realized where she was and were able to snap a few shots! She is so stinkin cute, and definatley makes us all smile!

Here is a shot of everyone that came over and carved the pumpkins with us, we couldn't get a really good picture of everyone and their pumpkins but there was Rob, Me, Tyler and Hayley Page, Colby and Darci Batty and Kent and Alyssa Turrek. Jamie was also there but didn't carve a pumpkin...It turned out to be a supper sweet family night!

Rob's birthday came and was sweet. We had tons of fun celebrating his quarter century day! We went to St. George and went to the temple and dinner and then were able to go to our really good friends Logan and Melissa's house for cake and ice cream. It was such a blast to spend time with them and see them. We sure miss having them close... The next day we went on a supper long hike up the mountain and broke our camera. Sad day!!

The last thing that happened during the fall season was Jake got a sweet buck! He was the only one in our family that harvested anything and we're pretty proud of him! Hunting is the most important thing in the Nielson family so it was a pretty big deal that the girls got to go with them. Way to go Jake!
