So few weeks ago I got a fish bowl, see previous blog for details, and since then I have kinda been mentioning to Rob that I would like to get a fish. With our crazy schedules I just thought it would be nice to come home and not have an empty house....so on Saturday while Rob was horn hunting, I bought a Beta! I was so excited I couldn't help but text Rob and tell him I had a huge surprise waiting for him!! Seriously I don't know if anyone will ever understand the excitement that came from bringing this little guy home. Rob says that I can't turn into a weirdo, and I don't plan to...but it sure was sweet this morning to come out of the bedroom and see Elvis swimming around in his bowl! I couldn't really think of a name for him. When I walked in the door with him i saw the letters that are supposed to spell HOME switched around spelling EMO. So I thought about naming him that, but decided I didn't really like it enought to say it a few times a day...so Elvis is what we decided on!
He is actually really beautiful! He is red, blue and purple. This morning I put a mirror next to his bowl and he got so flared up! His face turned a dark blusih black color...It was crazy. I know they are supposed to be mean, but I didn't like it when he turned that color...so i probably won't show him a mirror for a while.
This is what Rob and the Nielson guys brought home Saturday! They were so excited. Jake did really awesome finding two brown sets! It is amazing to me that something so differnet could bring them so much happiness! The were so excited it was great!

Rach you are so cute! I wish I had a fish to keep me company while Forrest was gone. I think Elvis is the perfect name, and he is very pretty! Or handsome I guess I should say..
