Well life has been going so fast! I can't believe I have a one month old daughter! We took the pictures of her...isn't she cute! (I know I'm the mom and its ok to say that I think she is the cutest little girl ever!) It seriously has flown by...it seems like Rob and I are learning something new every day. It has been one of the fastest months ever! Luckily Rob was on Christmas Break so we were able to spend the first few weeks at home as a little family. On Monday last week Rob went back to school, and there was a lot of learning from that time on. It was actually a blast to just be she and I, but I really appreciated having Rob home.
Doesn't she totally have the model look going for her? She is adorable, and tons of fun!
There are more pictures of her here.
Our really good friend Lauren took them! It was a blast!
We were able to have Kylie's blessing this weekend. And yes, her name did stay Kylie Rae Nielson! (we were a little worried that he was going to get the feeling and change it, but he didn't :) It was great because my family was able to come up; they are so awesome to make the long treck up and support us. And the Nielson family was here so we had a ton of family here. We came up to Nephi to bless her because Russ, another Nielson brother, came home from his mission! He served in Brazil, and did amazing! It has been so fun to hear him talk about the gospel and to see the changes that have taken place in his life.
It was really cool because we were able to bless her in my blessing dress! It was really big so I did a little alteration, but she looked beautiful, and was awesome! She didn't fuss or anything during the blessing, which was really great! Rob did amazing, and it was really a neat experience to have all of her uncles and grandfathers and great grandfathers standing around her, supporting her! One more experience that strengthened my testimony of the gospel and the priesthood.
