Louisiana to Montana 2017

Back tracking...After Louisiana we headed to Montana. We were able to spend time with both families on our way there which was so great. As hard as it was to leave LA it was great to be traveling with Rob on our way to see family. We caravanned, Rob in the van with the kids and me in his car with 1 kid at a time, or by myself. Which was great! I haven't had any alone time, so it was great to be on my own. We decided to drive from Monroe to Farmington, NM all in one day! Talk about the longest day ever!! It was insane but great to see family. We celebrated Londyn's 1st birthday with the Taylors. IT was so much fun, and unbelievable that my baby is 1!

When we got to Nephi, we set up an apt for Max. He had a weird growth on the back of his neck and with medicaid changing from state to state we had to have surgery while we were there. It was not my highlight for sure. Its hard to watch your kid be scared and know there isn't anything you can do to help keep him calm. But he did amazing. The surgery went good, he's a trooper. And it turns out the cyst was nothing, just a weird growth. (no cancer!!!)

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Nielsons, and had so much fun. We did lots of trap shooting and family time. We were also able to go Black Friday Shopping!! ( My fav) We were also able to sneak in a date! And then we headed to Montana.
