Another week down! Wahoo…this week was amazing! It flew by with Rob’s birthday, Halloween, and a full day date to the Baton Rouge Temple! We seriously had a blast this week.

Rob got a yummy diner and home made cake and as a joke we were all smiling at him when he got home. He told the kids he only wanted happy kids for his birthday, so naturally we were all smiling faces when he came in!

We celebrated with our good friends, Taylor and Kelsey. Side note, its been so good to have them out here with us. Seriously a HUGE blessing, for both Rob and the kids and I. We love them!

The next day was Halloween, and we stayed home, had dinner with the sister missionaries and watched ET. So chill and nice. And then the best idea ever happened. We let the kids pick 5 pieces of candy, took the rest and gave them $10 to buy a toy.
Longest 2 hours of Londyn and I's week, but SO worth it! The kids chose wisely and have enjoyed their new toys. And it's been nice to give them a treat when they are being awesome, but not have the constant battle of don't eat that right now. Win Win!

The rest of the week was pretty normal and fast! We went out the Bayou on Friday, kind of like this is the last time we are going to have the chance to go out and look for alligators trip.

And then on Saturday, Taylor and Kelsey watched the kids all day so Rob and I cold go on a date. We went to the Baton Rouge temple and just had a blast together! The temple is three and a half hours away, so it was an all day affair, and it was magnificent! We haven’t been on a date since May, and having the chance to talk about stuff as an adult was so nice!

On the way home we spotted a zebra on the side of the road, so naturally we had to stop and take a picture with it, and while I was taking a selfie, it tried to eat my hair! It was a great end to our week.
